The Plant-Based Protein Cluster (CPV)<\/strong> continues to strengthen its role as a strategic driver in the development of Argentina\u2019s plant-based industry. The organization brings together companies, research institutions, and key stakeholders across the agro-industrial value chain linked to plant-based proteins\u2014such as legumes, soy, peas, and other alternatives\u2014aiming to boost innovation, add value, and expand international market opportunities in a rapidly growing global sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, CPV representatives took part in a key meeting during Expoagro Argentina<\/strong>, one of the country\u2019s leading agro-industrial events. The meeting included Leandro Parissia<\/strong>, President of the Plant-Based Protein Cluster, alongside Pablo S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, who engaged in discussions with national authorities and industry leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing the government were Agust\u00edn Larralde<\/strong>, Director of Market Planning and Analysis at the Undersecretariat of Agricultural Markets; Agust\u00edn Tejeda Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, undersecretary of Agricultural Markets and International Negotiations; Mercedes Nimo<\/strong>, Cabinet Advisor within the same department. Also attending was Fabricio Orsich<\/strong>, President of the Federation of Grain Collection Centers and Entities (FECEBA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, participants advanced on defining joint action lines for 2026<\/strong>, focusing on strengthening the plant-based protein value chain, promoting exports, developing new markets, and enhancing public-private collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting highlights the growing strategic importance of plant-based proteins, driven by global trends such as healthier diets, sustainability, and the diversification of protein sources. In this context, Argentina aims to position itself as a key player by leveraging its strong agricultural capacity and scientific ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
